Taberna Larrain

The tavern is next to the hotel where my husband and I stayed. We liked several things about it: the proximity, the friendliness, the food (there were salads!), and the prices. That's why, even though there are many very good restaurants downtown, we had dinner here twice. The waiter, whose name I didn't ask, is the best. The first night we were going to order two salads, and he told us the salads were too big. We decided to share one, and it went very well. We ordered a cheese board and were stuffed 😂 The second night we arrived early, had a beer, and reserved a table for him for an hour and a half later. He brought our beers to our table, we went back to the hotel, and we came back, and there we had a table. The service was really good. The food was plentiful and good. The prices are the cheapest we've ever paid 😂 I saw that the daily menu costs €15. At the bar next door, it's €19. Of course, this is not a bar in the center and if you don't live around here or don't stay at the hotel next door, you won't come here but if you stay at the hotel, it's worth stopping by and seeing and paying what the locals see and pay, not the tourists 😬

Very good treatment from the staff and the boy who attended us without having a reservation. Good portions and sandwiches. It is appreciated when they treat you well.

100% recommendable place! We went for dinner and ordered some sandwiches. Excellent value for money, and they were delicious! For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake (homemade, by the way). Very friendly and fast service. The background music was up-to-date and at a decent volume. We would definitely go back.

They have served us very well shortly after the kitchen closed for a large group. The waitress was very friendly and the food was very delicious and at a good price. Amazing burgers and sandwiches.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. The service was very good. Everything was delicious and plentiful, although the cake wasn't impressive. It's a good place for lunch or dinner. During the week, they have a daily menu.

The €15 daily menu includes a starter, main course, dessert, bread, and a drink. Complete. Recommended. This was my first time here, and it was really good. The waiters were attentive and attentive at all times.

It's always a pleasure to enjoy their enormous homemade hamburgers! If you're passing through the area and don't know where to eat, the choice is easy! I went back in July 2025 and it's still just as good!!

I happened to be in the area looking for a restaurant, and as I walked past, it was packed both inside and outside, and no one was eating, even though you can see beautiful pictures of the food online. So I went in and asked if they serve food. They said yes, but only from 8 p.m., but of course, it's Spanish time, which is why everyone has a drink with tapas. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, and there's a good atmosphere. It's a neighborhood restaurant, not a 5-star restaurant.

Great place. We had a great time; and we had a great time (even our kids!!!). Despite some difficulty with Spanish, we were very well received. The staff was very patient and pleasant with us. We'll be right back after our vacation! Don't hesitate! The electronic menu is translated into several languages, including French. Thank you.

The best nachos I've ever had in my life!!! Too bad it's too far from Barcelona to indulge whenever I want. Hahaha. Make a reservation in advance; I only had dinner once out of the three days I was there. When a restaurant is full, it's a good sign.
